Reusable Cups Made from Coffee Husk

Huskee are the Sydney-based team behind the iconic HuskeeCup, which repurpose waste coffee husk, a by-product from coffee production.

We were tasked with creating a suite of animated videos and photography assets that could be rolled out across a variety of touchpoints from digital to print.

The animated videos showcased the new Huskee Renew cups and saucers which have a glass-like appearance. Combining the use of hyper-real 3D renders and modern typography, we wanted to highlight the innovative, durable and reusable features of Huskee Renew in a minimalistic style.

The product and stylised photoshoot showcases the function and beauty of the products. Certain stylistic choices, such as a corrugated backdrop, were employed to highlight the fins of the cup. At other times, a more minimal approach was taken to allow the cup’s thoughtful design to stand out.

Photographic assets from the photoshoots were then used across a series of posters to promote the product. The posters employ various tones of coffee to reflect both the use and material of the cup. The repetition and warping of typography illustrates its reusable nature.
